About the event

Rob Modarelli, Senior Advisor to the National Center for Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and a former president of Bellarmine Preparatory School, will explore questions around the future of China's role in the Asia-Pacific region and the global international order in the face of changing US policies and priorities. This will be a participatory event, with a short 15 minute presentation followed by a guided discussion led by Mr. Modarelli.


Rob Modarelli is Senior Advisor to the National Center for Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). He has worked in government and private sector roles focused on Asia-Pacific security and economic policy for over 20 years. He was instrumental in planning and executing the APEC 2023 CEO Summit in San Francisco, which brought together President Biden and other world leaders to meet with leading CEOs and business leaders from around the Pacific Rim.
