About the event
Come, Tell Me How You Live - Agatha Christie (245 pages)
Come, Tell Me How You Live by Agatha Christie is a memoir of travel, archaeology, marriage, and daily life in Syria and Iraq during the 1930s. Written with Christie’s dry wit and observational clarity, the book follows her experiences alongside her husband, archaeologist Max Mallowan, on excavation sites in the Middle East. Rather than a mystery novel, it is a warm, curious, and sharply observed account of cultural encounter, fieldwork, and the human comedy of life far from home.
A charming memoir of archaeology, travel, and discovery from the world’s most famous mystery writer.
Author’s Biography

Agatha Christie was one of the most widely read crime writers of the twentieth century, best known for Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, and a vast body of detective fiction. In Come, Tell Me How You Live, she steps outside crime fiction to write about travel, archaeology, and life with Max Mallowan in Syria and Iraq.
