About the event
A Stranger in Corfu – Alex Preston (304 pages)
A Stranger in Corfu by Alex Preston is a literary spy novel set on the Ionian island of Vidos, where memory, secrecy, and British intelligence history intersect. The novel reimagines a hidden episode from the British Intelligence Service and follows characters caught between desire, moral compromise, and the failure to escape the past. It combines espionage, atmosphere, and psychological tension in a story where the landscape itself becomes part of the mystery.
A tense and atmospheric spy novel about secrets, exile, and the ghosts that follow us across borders.
