About the event

Our virtual book club is open to anyone who likes to read! Current themes for the club are TRAVEL and SPY NOVELS. Meetings take place on the last Thursday of every month.

This month's book selection:

by George Orwell

George Orwell's first full-length work is a memoir following his journey among the impoverished societies of Europe's two largest and most prosperous cities. With wry humor and sobering honesty, Orwell depicts the experiences of destitution and hard labor in the restaurants of Paris and life as a vagabond roaming the roads of London, showing what it's like to live within the often overlooked margins of society.

Please RSVP to recieve the Zoom link for this event. The call-in details will be provided in the registration confirmation.
