Living and going to school in a foreign country gives one a unique perspective on that country’s culture. This is why Tanja Stack, who grew up in Croatia, decided to move her entire family to Europe for nearly half a year. Find out about her family’s adventures in education, travel, and cultural appreciation. In addition, explore some lesser known destinations in Croatia that are popular with locals and well worth a trip.

Tanja Stack is passionate about travel and language education. She is the CEO of Chi-Chack, a company dedicated to supporting military language education headquartered in Tacoma. She also founded Chi-Chack Community Language Center, a non-profit organization focused on foreign language education for children.

Tanja has been a Tacoma resident for nearly 20 years. She also lived and was educated in Germany and Croatia, and is fluent in German, Croatian and English. Tanja loves to travel and is always on the lookout for a new destination. The past year has seen her visit Croatia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Monaco, Iceland, Australia, and New Zealand.
