Travel Talk: Two Countries Impact World Culture

  • Wednesday, September 19, 2018
  • 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • The Great Hall, Annie Wright Schools, Tacoma WA 98403

Registration

Bill Evans

Let's travel - off the beaten track - to the ancient countries of Spain and Portugal. We might just even learn to speak a little Spanish and Portuguese along the way. We'll also learn a little secret about Christopher Columbus. Castles and churches and markets and a monkey. We'll have a fun time Wednesday evening and takeaway maps will be provided for everyone.

Owner of The Pacific Northwest Shop, Bill Evans, has been an important part of the Tacoma business community for decades now. Not only is he the owner of The Pacific Northwest Shop in Tacoma's Proctor District, but he also served on the Tacoma City Council from 2000 to 2008, and also worked to help establish several Tacoma businesses, Tacoma's Proctor Farmer's Market, and the Proctor District Association. He is also an active member of the World Affairs Council of Tacoma.

This Travel Talk will take place on September 19 at 7:30 p.m. at
Annie Wright Schools.
