The World Affairs Council's Spotlight series is devoted to examining the changes and challenges in United States foreign policy under the new Trump administration. In no area are these changes more pronounced and controversial than relations with Russia. This panel presentation will draw upon the expertise of academics and practitioners to explain what choices  America faces as it re-evaluates its relationship with Russia and to assess the potential implications for the region and the world.

Our panelists for this event:

Dr. Patrick O’Neil is Professor of Political Science from the University of Puget Sound. He has written widely on Eastern Europe and comparative politics.

Dr. Tom Rainey is a Professor of History from Evergreen State College.

Brandon Gunter is a Senior Manager with Moss Adams where he is a cyber security expert and IT consultant. He has written and spoken on cyber security issues.
