Presented by Linh Thai:
“Nicaragua: An Appreciative Inquiry Perspective"

October 21, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
The Great Hall, Annie Wright Schools, Tacoma

During a 45 days journey to Nicaragua, Linh and his daughter have learned much about the country, the culture, and more importantly its people. The motivations were simple: To engage his daughter of 10 in a cultural and linguistic immersion experience, with the learning goals of appreciating life back in the U.S. What turned out was quite different. Linh was discovering and learned much more about himself, the organic connections he forged with the Nicaraguan people despite the language and cultural differences.
