Running In China"

In June 2015, the Tacoma Runners, a social running club, sent a group of 20 runners to China to launch its first adventure travel itinerary. The trip created lifelong friends, beautiful photos, and unique opportunities for individuals from both countries to build the kind of cultural understanding that can only come from meeting (and running) with someone. Derek Young will discuss the first trip, diplomacy through running, building community by going off the beaten path and the future of running tourism.

Derek Young is the Co-founder of Tacoma Runners and publisher of Exit133.com.
