The World Affairs Council Tacoma (WACT) is a membership organization, and it is through the generous contributions of our members and program sponsors that we are able to provide programs and services to the community. Membership in the WACT enables you to participate in unique travel opportunities, attend national conferences on foreign policy, and support increasing global literacy in the South Sound. In joining, you become part of an association of 90 independent associations nationwide that work to engage and educate Americans on international affairs and foreign policy. Your membership dollars enable us to provide education to South Sound teachers on topical global issues, host regional consuls at our annual Consular Association Reception, and partner with collaborating organizations in bringing thoughtful speakers to the region.
